Karachi; February 9, 2010. (PCP) Pakistan Christian Congress PCC Central Council have decided to request Bishop T. Nasir to lead in Shazia killing case in Lahore to appear in court in future proceedings of case while CLAAS and NCJP failed to provide any legal assistance.
Dr. Nazir S Bhatti, President of Pakistan Christian Congress PCC, called Bishop T Nasir who is also Principal of Faith Theological Seminary Gujranwala, Punjab, and discussed situation of Shazia murder case in which no advocate is appearing in court proceedings.
Bishop T Nasir assured that he have studied law and will appear in court in Shazia case on belaf of PCC in next hearings.
Advocate Naeem, an influential Muslim with contacts in Pakistan Army and Punjab government of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz Group was nominated as main accused by family of Shazia Bashir, a 12 year Christian girl, who was found dead in hospital on January 22, 2010, in Lahore, who was working as housemaid in accused home.
Killer Naeem Choudry Advocate is former President of Lahore High Court Bar Association and Muslim lawyers threatened any lawyer to appear on Shazia Bashir case according to CLAAS.
CLAAS is a foreign funded organization working with Catholic Church of Pakistan, Church of Pakistan and Human Right Commission of Pakistan HRCP, and announced to provide legal aid to Shazia Bashir who was murdered by her Muslim employer.
Killer Naeem was produced here today in Session Court of Lahore and his police remand was extended for one day when no advocate was present to plead victim.
The Defense Police investigating officer told court that according to medical reports no rape and torture was found in Shazia killing case.
PCC have already feared that Chief Minister of Punjab have tented facts by his medical board to safe killer Naeem who is member of his Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz group.
Dr. Nazir Bhatti said “ PCC will ensure justice in Shazia killing and will not allow culprits to go unpunished on their infulence in government”
“I urge every Christian in Pakistan to support Bishop T. Nasir to lead in Shazia case” said Bhatti
Nazir S Bhatti, appreciated role of Mr. Sohtra in Shazia case.
