Timely stipend ordered for Benazir Bhutto Shaheed Youth Development Program

HYDERABAD: February 4, 2010. (Sameer Nazir for PCP) The District Coordination Officer (DCO) Hyderabad Aftab Ahmed Khatri has directed the monitoring teams for Benazir Bhutto Shaheed Youth Development Program (BBSYDP) to be more vigilant and ensure proper attendance/qualitative training and timely payment of stipend to the enrolled youths to make BBSYDP as more success and meaningful. This he directed while presiding over meeting to review over the performance of the departments concerned about BBSYDP training program at his camp office here on Thursady. Addressing the meeting the D.C.O Hyderabad said that the main purpose of BBSYD Program is to enhance the skill development and employability among the un employed educated, literate and semi literate youths, linkage them to local and international Job market and also encourage self employment to eradicate menace of un employment from society. He said that this purpose can only be achieved when organization concerned and individual to perform with letter & sprit. While taking notice of reports about delay payment to trainee youth, D.C.O Hyderabad directed the officers to ensure regular and timely payment. However he directed to stop the payment of those trainee who are remaining absent from training. He informed the meeting that in addition to Provincial monitoring team, five more monitoring teams were working in the district to check the system and directed the members of these monitoring teams to pay surprise visit to ensure attendance and qualitative training to youth but also to identify bottlenecks practical difficulties if any with their recommendation for solution. The D.C.O also directed the officers of the department of district government to identify their difficulties if any instead of keeping their problems under the carpet. Participating in deliberation of the meeting the officers of the department having their field Job, expressed their inability to take trainee in the field due to lack of transport facilities while other expressed difficulties of space and seating arrangement in their offices. The D.C.O directed the officers of human resources management for allocation of the department to the trainee with consultation of Department concerned to avoid practical difficulties.
