Lahore: January 29, 2010. (PCP) Mohammad Naeem Advocate who was in police remand on killing of 12 years old Christian girl was brought in Cantonment Court Lahore from back door of court compound in tight security.
Police contingents were heavily deployed in court area to avoid any protests by lawyers of Lahore High Court and City Courts who already boycotted courts proceeding in support of lawyer Mohammad Naeem on January 27, 2010, after decision made by Lahore High Court Bar Association.
Defense Police station produced accused Mohammad Naeem before Judicial Magistrate Saleem Sheikh and requested physical remand of 10 days.
The police pleaded that evidence in case and statements of family of Shazia shall be recorded and investigated in these days but magistrate extended remand for 6 days.
The police not allowed media to enter in court compound while Christians protested in front of court demanding punishment for killer of Shazia.
CLAAS and other Human Right organizations organized protest and play cards were hoisted demanding justice for innocent Shazia who was killed by her employer Mohammad Naeem Advocate on January 22, 2010.
