LARKANA: January 26, 2010. (Nazir Siyal for PCP) Former Governor and PML-N Central leader in Sindh, Mamnoon Hussain said that there is no demand of mid term election in country by the PML-N, but the policies of PPP government are leading to the political unrest and anarchy.
He expressed these views while talking to a group of newspapers here in Larkana; he said that the conspiracy was being hatched against the country’s existence and the democracy. PML-N doesn’t intend to destabilize the democratic system but we are trying to strengthen the democracy and country.
He said the objective of the visit to the Sindh districts was on the directives of PML-N Quaid Nawaz Sharif to revamp and reactivate the party in Sindh. He said the SC decision was laudable and now the present government should implement the NRO, adding that the beneficiaries must face the trials in Courts if they are innocent he said.
Mamnoon said, the PML-N is the most responsible opposition and the enemies of democracy were hatching the conspiracies against country. He said they have respect the Charter of Democracy which was signed by the PPP and PML-N
Meanwhile, Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) Chief Organizer Sindh Saleem Zia on Monday said that the PPP has violated the Charter of Democracy (COD) signed by the PPP Chairperson Shaheed Benazir Bhuttto and PML-N Chief Mohammed Nawaz Sharif, while the present government did not repeal the 17th amendment and fulfilled the other promises accordingly.
While on the visit of Sindh districts on the directives of PML-N Qaid Mian Nawaz Sharif, he said the present government has failed to overcome the crisis of gas, electricity and and other unrest prevails in entire country. He said PML-N on the stance of independence judiciary and the rule of law in country, added that the democracy should be flourished in country and the institutions must be strengthen he said.
Saleem Zia said the complete constitution of 1973 should be restored by implementing the NRO decision by SC. PML-N leader stressed that the SC decision about National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO) beneficiaries should step down from their offices immediately and present government should implement the SC decision.
He said there are so many crises in country including price hike, inflation, povertly lawlessness, electricity crises and other basic problems should be addressed by this government he said.
To a query about the US interference, internal affairs of country and other economic problems, he said PML-N has raised the voice against the Kerry lougar Bill, drone attacks, presence of black water and other national issues, added that time and again PML-N has protested against the unfair inherence of the US and western countries and never compromise on the national sovereignty and security he said.
PML-N leader said Shaheed Benazir Bhutto was a national leader and present PPP government must fulfill the promises and the investigation of her assassination should be completed and exposed hidden hands he said.
He said the Karachi blasts on October 18, Ashura incident was well organized conspiracy against the country and present government which should investigate it accordingly.
Saleem Zia said his party is holding transparent polls for electing new office-bearers soon after completing the reorganization in the province.
The people should get united on PML-N platform because the next era will be ruled by the party.
