LARKANA: January 25, 2010. (Nazir Siyal reports for PCP) Khaksar Tehreek (KT) Larkana chapter organized one-day youth workshop on social change and development of masses regarding the capability building throughout different technical skills, training and national awareness about the social services. On the occasion, KT Sindh Nazim Azm-e-Hyder Mughal along Anila Khaksar, Nasir, Abdul Qadir and others speaking to the workshop, they emphasized to the youth and masses to unite against all social evils, they said society need attention and development of education, the young people have a distinct capacity for facing life challenges and achieving positive development. The speakers said we offer a critique of existing conceptual frameworks for youth development, which we call the problem-driven and the possibility-driven approaches to resolve their matters because the youth are as Second Class Citizens and barriers to Full Democratic Participation. Other participants included people from different social and educational fields said that there is dire need of technical skills and know-how about the professional education among the youth of Sindh they said. Meanwhile, Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) in Larkana has placed eight inch main supply pipe line for Larkana and its surrounding in order to meet the proper pressure of Sui Gas to the consumers said officials of the corporation on Monday. According to the details, One day Sui Gas shuttdonwn was observed in Larkana and its sourounding for repairment and removal of four inch main pipe line in order to meet the Sui Gas pressure to the consumers. It is mentioned here that 18 hour power outage and low Sui Gas pressure is continued, as the sufferings of consumers were inceased and severly affected by the household, trade and business community. On Monday, due to the Sui Gas shutdown immediately after 1 pm, the common people including women and children badly affected and rush increased at various hotels of the city. SSGC in order to facilitated the people of Larkana to place eight inch main pipe line supply to the consumers due to the low pressure of sui gas.
