PCC Rawalpindi Council and leaders of “Life for All” condemn killing of Shazia

Rawalpindi: January 25, 2010. (PCP) A sad incident took place on 21st January in Lahore, a 12 year old Shazia Bashir was tortured and murdered by an attorney Mohammad Naeem. Shazia was working as a Domestic Worker in bungalow number AA 444 Defense Lahore with Muhammad Naeem Lawyer of Lahore High Court Lahore. He never paid a single penny to Shazia from last 8 months. On 21st of January 2010, Shazia’s Mother received a dead body of her daughter. Mohammad Naeem tried to hide this case and also pressurize to her father and media that I am a lawyer and will see who will highlight this issue because the court and the lawyer community is with me. Mohammad Naeem tried to get his relative who is a Brigadier involved to get the issue resolved, but it was no use. Mohammad Naeem and his family members have been arrested and have been sent on judicial remand for Today Shazia was laid to rest, thousands attended the funeral at the Cathedral. Today President Life for All Mr. Rizwan Paul, Mr. Aamier Anwer and Mr. Kashif Mazhar went to meet the family of the deceased. Nawaz Sharif also visited the family. Mr. Aamir said that countless rape cases of Christian women go unreported in Pakistan at workplaces, the time has come to raise voice for these innocent Christians. Mr. Kashif Mazhar also condemned the incident and requested the Christian Community to pray for the grieving family.
