LARKANA: January 22, 2010. (Nazir Siyal reports for PCP) Sindh Nationalist groups along with PPP and its wings in Larkana and other parts of Sindh will observe Indus River Day on January 24, 2010 on Sunday. While, the Sindh Peoples Youth district Larkana convened meeting regarding the participation in the Indus River Day on 24th January, on the occasion, the meeting was chaired by the SPY Organizer Saleem Ahmed Soomro, he apprised the participants that district the PPP district Larkana along with Provincial Law Minister Muhammad Ayaz Soomro and other party leaders, workers will lead the procession to participate in Indus River Day on 24th January at Larkana-Khairpur Bridge to express the solidarity with Sindh and Sindhi people. Meanwhile, large number of Population Welfare Department on protest call given by APCA Family Planning Sindh staged demonstration out side the local press club against the non provision of their rights here on Friday. On the occasion, Sindh President APCA Family Planning Peeral Dayo said that educated children of poor employees are committing suicide due to poverty and unemployment but rulers are distributing the thousands jobs to their favourites on political bases which is violation of merit, he alleged. Peeral Dayo said that APCA Family Planning Sindh has always struggle and raised the voice against injustice, grievances of employees, he said that concerned Minister and other PPP leaders made only Hollow Promises and did not fulfill the commitments regarding the son quota and other issues. On the occasion, APCA leaders Peeral Dayo announced to participate in the celebration of Sindh day on 24th January, along with all leaders and workers of APCA Sindh. Meanwhile, the Communist Party of Pakistan Larkana chapter organized a Seminar on services of communist leader here at Nizamani Hall on Friday. On the occasion, Secretary General CPP Kamred Khadim Thaheem addressing said that communist have always given sacrifices for the entire world, Komred Juwanti Baso was great human being who served the humanity. He allegedly said that at present PPP is losing the democratic values by its policies. Renowned intellectual Comrade Sobho Gian Chandani in his speech put light on the life of Juwanti Baso wad devolved man who dedicated his whole life for serving poor people, he said fedal Kastro is my ideal personality, his services are commendable, he said only communist parties can bring the revaluation in country and pull out from prevailing crises. On the occasion, Rauf Korai, PML-N leader Babu Sarfraz Jatoi, Khalid Chandio, Comrade Parkash Sikandar Gopang and others also addressed the seminar.
