Faisalabad: January 18, 2010. (PCP) The news of Gojra DCO promotion who failed to protect Christian life and property on August 1, 2009, surprised victims and Christians throughout Pakistan here today. It was reported by PCP that Muslim officers in administration and Police in Gojra Town in Punjab province of Pakistan supervised attack on Christians and turned eye when Muslim mob was destroying homes, setting fire on Churches and burning alive 7 Christian women and children. The outraged Pakistani Christians on incident of attacks on villages Bahminwala, Korian in July 2009, were protesting in Gojra while Shahbaz Bhatti, PPP selected and imposed Minority Minster in Federal Government and Kamran Michael, PML(N) selected and Minority Minister in Punjab Government were hurriedly dispatched by their Muslim masters to diffuse tension and calm down Christian anger. Both, Shahbaz Bhatti and Kamran Michael waved FIR against police officials and town administration to ensure justice for Christian victims. Police lodged FIR against 800 Muslims and 129 Christians to shape incident as communal riots in presence of these selected Christian parliamentarians but they kept it secret from victim Christians which was also reported by PCP. The FIR and Charged Sheet was prepared by police in such a way that Muslims who destroyed 60 homes and burnt alive seven Christians were bailed out by higher courts of Pakistan while Christians were threatened and up to filing this story are involved in rioting cases. The high official responsible for protecting life and property called DCO was also blamed by Christians to supervise attack and not ordering police to protect Gojra Christian was promoted to higher rank here today. Mr. Xavier William, Joint Sectary of Pakistan Christian Congress PCC and PCC-Rawalpindi Council Members strongly condemn the promotion of the DCO responsible for the Gojra incident. Akram Masih, Member of National Assembly of Pakistan staged walk out from assembly session protesting against the promotion of the DCO responsible for the Gojra incident.
