Pakpattan: December 24, 2009. (PCP) On the Christmas Eve , the Christian community is still working on the order of Sanitary Inspector named Attique Butt.' Christians employees( Sweepers ) in TMA (Tehsil Municipal Administration ) must do work on 25 December otherwise they will face consequences or they will have no more jobs sanitary worker, said this Sanitary Inspector of TMA, Pakpattan''. The government of Punjab announced two holidays ( 25 and 26 December, 2009 ) on Christmas according to Minority Affairs Minister Mr. Kamran Michael. This is one of the worse thing that the Christian sanitary workers are bearing. They have been paid just 15 days pay on 24 December evening instead of 24 days and this is also the violation of the Punjab government order regarding payment of salary to the Christian employees before 20th December. ACCA (http://accainternational.tripod.com) President Mr. Javed Sahotra Adv. met TMO Pakpattan named Aslam Gujar to discuss this discrimination with Christians employees but TMO Pakpattan did not listen anything. ACCA secretary Nadeem Hamid Gill, Khalid Nazir, Sabar Masih and other members were also present in TMA office with Javed Sahotra Adv. Please pray for Pakpattan Christians that God help them in this trouble.
