LARKANA: December 23, 2009. (Nazir Siyal for PCP) Chief of Jamiat Ulma-e-Islam (F) JUI Maulana Fazul Rehman said on Wednesday that the country is facing numerous crises and challenges, being a coalition partner in present government; we will fight for the constructive change and reforms. This he said while offering the condolence over the sad demise of the mother of JUI Senator Dr. Khalid Mehmood Soomro at his residence at Larkana.
Speaking to the media men, Fazul-e-Rehman said the judiciary and media should play their impartial role regarding different national issues, because the country is passing through a critical juncture. He said the country cannot afford more damage of democracy and constitution he said.
JUI Chief said previous rulers and politicians had committed many mistakes, as the economy of country suffered, added that the there are several beneficiaries of NRO and only the politicians cannot be targeted, he further said the non political people including the bureaucrats, traders and other beneficiaries should be held accountable he said.
He further said the NRO issue has become dead, so it should not be discussed further, while the judiciary and media must play an impartial role to pull out the country from crises he said.
JUI chef stressed upon the dire need of Mutahida Majlis-e-Aml (MMA) on current political scenario and expressed hope that all the religious and political parties will gather for the sake of durable peace and harmony in the country he said.
He said the Balochistan was neglected and deprived of its rights since 1974, while the country was suffering the results of past mistakes he said, he also demanded that the package for Balochistan was announced to redress the problems of Baloch people, so that such package should be announced for NWFP and Sindh provinces he said.
Maulana Fazl expressed concern over the presence and suspect activities of Black Water Organization in the Islamabad capital of Pakistan. He criticized on the dictator Musharaf who tarnished the constitution of Pakistan and violated the basic rights, adding that he promulgated illegal ordinances and orders by individually he said.
On the occasion, Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Hydri, Maulana Nasir Mehmood Soomro, Maulana Noor Hussain Chana, Muhabat Ali Khuhro and others were present.
