Requisition submitted in Senate against NFC

LARKANA: December 16, 2009. (Nazir Siyal reports for PCP) Senator Dr. Khalid Mehmmood Soomro criticized on the NFC Award and termed it an anti-Sindh policies as well as the deviation of Sindh people. He said in a press statement issued here on Wednesday, he further stated that he has submitted the requisition in senate against the NFC Award and will protest in the up coming session of Senate against the NFC. Mr. Soomro said the Sindh facing injustice and other various problems since the creation of country, but the democratic government has done beyond the expectation of Sindh people, which is the regrettable act and unacceptable at any cost he said. He said the Sindh province is generating 100 billion while in return it is provided only 180 billion for the country. He said Sindh cannot bear further burden of other provinces, so that any atrocity against the Sindh cannot be tolerated he said. He demanded for to implement an article 160 for the provision of the rights of provinces and further discuss and review the NFC Award he added. He said the people are already protesting against the injustice, occupation on their resources, rights and other atrocities.
