Pakistani Christians to remember Gojra Martyrs in Christmas prayers.

Karachi: December 15, 2009. (PCP) Dr. Nazir S Bhatti, President of Pakistan Christian Congress PCC said that 20 million Pakistani Christians shall offer special prayers

for victims of violence on accusation of blasphemy by Islamic militants and Gojra Martyrs during midnight services of Christmas. "How we can forget our brothers and sisters who were burnt alive by Islamic extremists in Pakistan and hundreds of home were destroyed by Muslim mob? Christians in Pakistan are not a community but a Nation and nations never forget oppression and persecution" said Nazir Bhatti He added "We are son of soil and a Nation in Pakistan while Muslims are immigrants from central Asia and Middle East in region which falls in Pakistan territory and invaders are treating us like slaves in our inherited land but we must rise to save our rights" Pakistani Christian shall remember 2009, as "Black Year" when Muslims mobs attacked Christian villages and burnt down innocent Children and Women alive in Gojra. Dr. Nazir S Bhatti urged Pakistani Christian Youth and Youth members of Pakistan Christian Congress PCC to offer Special Prayers for Christian Martyrs during Midnight Services on Christmas to remember our persecuted nation. "PCC demands arrest of Muslim extremists who burnt alive seven Christian women and Children in Gojra and destroyed hundreds of homes in Punjab in year 2009, who are walking free on streets because they are Muslims and living in Islamic Republic of Pakistan" said Nazir Bhatti Dr. Nazir S Bhatti said that PCC filed a petition with UN to grant Refugee Status to Pakistani Christians in February 2009, on genocide of Christians in Islamic Republic of Pakistan and will fight for Christians of Gojra, Bahminwala and Korian villages as a special case if they applied PCC for their refugee status. "Under Constitution of Islamic Republic of Pakistan and genocide of Christians in Pakistan deserve right to be a Displaced person IDP" said Nazir Bhatti Nazir Bhatti urged Christians to boycott Shahbaz Bhatti who is Federal Minister for Minorities and others who are supporting government in Pakistan Nazir Bhatti said "PCC Youth will urge Clergy in Pakistan to offer Special Prayers for our Martyrs on Christmas prayers" .
