Bishops urged to take over Karachi YMCA. PCP. Report.

New York. June 13. Mr. Arshad Rehmat, an ex member of Karachi YMCA have demanded an immediate take over of YMCA administration. Talking to PCP, Mr. Arshad Rehmat said " Its in best interests of YMCA that Catholic Bishop of Karachi and Bishop of church of Pakistan at Karachi may be declared as the care taker administrators who may open the membership for general Christians which was made limited by the present Board of Directors of YMCA " Talking on Church leadership administration, Mr. Arshad added " its also under the YMCA by laws when both the Karachi bishops have been already the honorary life time members and directors of YMCA' Mr. Arshad said that under administrations of both Bishops, the elections of new board of Directors may be conducted and establishment may be handed over to newly elected offices. He said that participation of general Christians in YMCA is for the betterment of this institution. He condemned the present Board of directors behaviors to sort limitation on the YMCA membership which reduced up to 40 from thousands.
