Health and Education is priority of government: Nisar Khuhro

LARKANA: December 7, 2009. (Nazir Siyal reports for PCP) Speaker Sindh Assembly Nisar Ahmed Khuhro has said that the health, education sector and other gas, electricity, roads and communication facilities are the priority areas to provide the masses at their door step. This he said during his visit to the health institutions including PPHI in Aqil and Larkana Blood Bank and Thaelaesemia Center near Chandka Medical College Bridge Larkana on Monday. Nisar Khuhro said there is need to provide healthcare fascilities to the common men as the health instiutions role is an important in society. He said the several mothers died during pregnancy and health centers’ benefits should be received people of Sindh even in the remote areas he said. Nisar Khuhro said health centers can play their important role to serve the ailing humanity and they must ensure the quality of treatment mother child health. On the occasion, LBBTC Incharge Qurutul-Ain briefed the Speaker Sindh Assembly about working of institution, she said the institution is voluntarily working to help the deprived people and thaelaesemic child patients by providing free transfusion. She told that LBBTC has served around 3700 people by providing free blood and all tests added that the volunteers of the center were also serving in the remote areas of Larkana, Qamber-Shahdadkot district she said. On the occasion, Ghulam Abbas Kehar, Khalid Iqbal Memon, Mohammed Ameen Shaikh and others spoke on the occasion
