LARKANA: December 2, 2009. Nazir Siyal reports for PCP) Suffering from HIV-Aids affected people staged protest demonstration out side the press club for non provision of Aids related health facilities as promised by Sindh government and NGOs here on Tuesday.
On the occasion, Muhammad Bachal Buledi, Mehar Ali Mirali, Abdul Qadir Mashi, Muhammad Yousif Bhutto told media men that they are suffering from HIV aids, but the government and local administration have not taken any steps to address their problems.
They said that government facilitate them as they are effected and suffering from HIV-Aids, they added there is no any rehabilitation center as various boosting by the NGOs and Hospital administration.
They demanded of government to take immediate measures to provide health facilities and resolve their other problems otherwise they will continue their protest.
Meanwhile, Sindh Peoples Youth District Larkana observed black day and took out protest rally against the unfair criticism on Sindh Culture and Sindhi Topi (cap) here on Tuesday.
On the occasion, large number of activists youth led by President Saleem Ahmed Soomro, Fida Hussain Khoso, Shabir Ahmed Hajano, Bashir Ahmed Bhutto and others holding placards, banners, inscribed slogans infavour of President Asif Ali Zardari while talking to media men they condemned the PVT TV channel and its anchor on criticizing on PPP Co-chairman wearing Sindhi Topi.
They said that such act of anchor shows his narrow minded approach and bias with Sindh Culture and its people they said that we are proud of being Sindhi, they said that Sindh was first province which had passed resolution for Pakistan.
Protestors demanded from government to take action against such private channel and its anchor on assaulting Sindh culture.
