LARKANA: November 30, 2009. (Nazir Siyal reports for PCP) Naheed Khan, the political secretary of martyred Benazir Bhutto, said on Monday that the President Aisf Ali Zardari and his government must fulfill the promise and dream of Benazir Bhutto about the 58 2-B and 17th amendment. Addressing the 43rd Youm-e-Tassis (foundation day) by Pakistan Peoples Party, Naheed Khan said the Federal and Provincial Ministers must depend on workers and remain intact, not alone in the bunkers she said. She expressed that all the party workers demands for immediate probe and wants to know about the killers of Benazir Bhutto, who snatched their leader and offered money or plan behind. She along with workers still waiting to identify and arrest those culprits, otherwise Naheed demanded if the probe into the assassination of Benazir Bhutto could not be reached at, all the workers will took to the streets and roads led by her she added. Naheed Khan said the workers are depressed due to the inactive policies of government and current situation of Pakistan is not favorable due to the crises in Northern areas and other parts of country, added that the Pakistan Army in their own motherland busy in the operation against the terrorists she said. She said the Party workers are unite but devided and confused by the present rulers policies, she appealed all the workers to protect the asset of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto and her legacy. She said the workers should take steps of accountability and protect the vision of PPP founder Zulfikar Ali Bhutto. Shaheed Benazir Bhutto could not bow herself before the dictator of the country and step ahead for true democracy in country; she said her struggle and sacrifice for the country will remain in the golden words, who devoted herself for the cause of democracy and now there is a political gape which could be fulfilled like her braveness and acknowledged world leader she said. She said the PPP government Ministers are responsible to protect the ideology and vision of Benazir Bhutto, she sacrificed her life and the ultimate result of present government she said. Senator Dr. Safdar Ali Abbasi, on the occasion criticized the present PPP government policies, said the party workers has lost their identity and searching their files for their sacrifices, further added that the workers are confused and unhappy with party leaders and demands for real and true spirit in the Party leaders. He said Benazir Bhutto legacy could not be fulfilled by only with government hollow slogans but their must be a true sense and actual ground struggle with letter and spirit, so we are protector of political asset of PPP he said. Senator Safdar said there is a conspiracy and enemy elements for PPP and spreading the regional approach and nationalist, but the PPP struggle is a federal and democratic he said. He said all the workers are united and demands after 43 years on this day that the party workers identity is in the crises that must be maintained and put together them in democratic rule he said.
