LARKANA: October 30, 2009. (Nazir Siyal reports for PCP) Speaker Sindh Assembly Nisar Ahmad Khuhro has said that the PPP Government after the great sacrifices came into power and present government was trying to resolve various issues of people on priority basis, which is also the dream of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto, she sacrificed her life for the true cause and gave us a power of speaking. This he said while addressing the foundation stone laying ceremony of MRI and C.T Diagnostic Center at city block Chandka Medical College Hospital Larkana here on Friday. Khuhro, said it is now our duty to serve the poor people without any discrimination and to provide basic facilities including Health and Education to the downtrodden people at their door steps, besides the relief and justice may be provided to people at their respective areas. The Speaker said that we are committed to implement the manifesto of the party, so that the poor people may be served at grass root level and in order to provide basic facilities are their right which was the dream of our leader Shaheed Rani Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto. The speaker taken oath from newly elected body of Para Medical staff of the Chandka Medical College Hospital Larkana on the occasion, he urged upon the newly elected staff members of the Hospital that they should realize their responsibilities and to serve the ailing humanity without any discrimination and to ensure health care facilities to the poor patients, any kind of the slackness in this regard will not be tolerated at any cast he said. He also said that the free treatment will be provided to the staff members of the hospital, besides the construction wok of Trauma Center was started and the Burn Ward and Cardiac Surgical Unit will also be established in short possible time in the City hospital and announced to provide an Ambulance for Cardiac Unit of the CMC hospital. On the occasion, Secretary health Sindh Syed Hashim Raza Zaidi has said that the Government of Sindh was trying its utmost to solve the problems of Para Medical staff, and the present Government has approved an amount of Rsd.5200 Million in health sector during the current financial year, and an amount of Rs. 654 Million are being spent to purchase MRI & CT Scan Diagnostic machines for Larkano, Nawab Shah, LMC and Karachi hospitals. The work was started from Larkana. On the occasion Medical Superintend Chandika Hospital College Larkana Dr. Zulifqar Siyal highlighted the performance of the hospital and apprised the problems of the hospital to the speaker and the secretary health Sindh, besides the newly elected chairman of Para Medical staff of the hospital Syed Bhudal Shah, President Mehmood Chandio and general secretary Munawar Ali Mangi also spoke on the occasion and welcomed the Chief Guest, pointed out the problems of Para Medical staff. The ceremony was largely attended by president press club Larkana S. Iqbal Babu, PPP leaders Khair Muhammad Shaikh, Ghulam Abbas Kehar, DCO Larkana Muhammad Jaffar Abbasi, Abdul Razaque Soomro, Abdul Fatah Bhutto, Khalid Iqbal Memon, EDO Health Dr. Abdul Fatah Bhugio and large members of Para Medical staff Doctors, party leaders and workers attended the inaugural ceremony.
