LARKANA: October 22, 2009. (Nazir Siyal reports for PCP) Chief Minister of Sindh Sayed Qaim Ali Shah enraged on ongoing development work at Garhi Khuda Bux and expressed dissatisfaction over the slow pace of work at over all Larkana Development. Sindh Chief Minister left over the ongoing meeting with concerned government officials at Circuit House Larkana on Thursday.
According to the details, Chief Minister Sindh Sayed Qaim Ali Shah accompanied by Provincial Ministers included Manzoor Husain Wasan, Agha Siraj Khan Durani, Syed Murad Ali Shah, Muhammad Ayaz Soomro and PPP leaders reached at Garhi Khua Bux Bhutto and offered Fateha and laid floral wreathes on the Mazars of Shaheed Rani Mohterma Benazir Bhutto, Shaheed Zulifqar Ali Bhutto, Shaheed Mir Murtaza Bhutto, Shaheed Shah Nawaz Bhutto and Ameer Begum Bhutto. He also offered Fateha at the Mazars of Shuhda-e-Karsaz.
Sindh Chief Minister during the visit of ongoing development work and alignment on boundary wall at Garhi Khuda Bux, he expressed dissatisfaction over the poor pace of work and development.
Chief Minister presided over a meeting of members of Mazar Committee, Chief Minister also infuriated on the concerned Officers as they were not performing according to the prepared work plans (PCs).
He said the development work at Mazar should be completed by stipulated time, while delay and quality of work will not be tolerated, he ordered to ensure the quality work in time.
While, in the meeting Sindh Chief Minister Sayed Qaim Ali Shah left over the meeting for some time.
Sindh Provincial Ministers included Manzoor Husain Wasan, Agha Siraj Khan Durani, Syed Murad Ali Shah, Muhammad Ayaz Soomro, PPP leaders including Ghulam-u-llah Mahoto, Khair Muhammad Shaikh, Asif Soomro, Abdul Hamid Burgiri, DCO Larkana Muhammad Jaffar Abbasi, DPO Larkana Irfan Balouch and members of the Mazar Committee were present in the meeting.
During the meeting chief engineer buildings Panah Ali Jumani briefed the Chief Minister, about the schemes for public facilities, essential work around the mausoleum of Shaheed Mohterma Benazir Bhutto at Garhi Khuda Bux Bhutto with the total cast of scheme was 432.00 million of which 176.400 million were received out of which 166 million were spent for the earth filling of 36 acres, cement concret on 14 acres besides the road work is in progress and 85 lavatory blocks, the work is in progress to be completed in time
The Chief Minister has directed the concerned officer to ensure the quality of work and complete the development works in time.
While, speaking to the media men at Mazar of Shaheed Rani Mohterma Benazir Bhutto, he said that all out efforts are being made to maintain law and order under control and to safe guard the lives and properties of people in the province with out any discrimination.
The Chief Minister said that by the great of Almighty Allah, no major incident of terrorism have occurred in the province due to timely intelligence report and effective measures adopted by law enforcing agencies through out the province.
He said that the second death anniversary of Shaheed Mohterma Benazir Bhutto
will be observed on December 27, 2009 at Garhi Khuda Bux Bhutto. He said that the development work of Mazar is in progress under the supervision of Mazar Committee.
The Chief Minister said that there was a shortage of irrigation water but we are trying to get due share of irri water to the meet the scarcity and the paddy crop is also available in market, the present Government is determined to promote Agriculture and to provide incentives to the growers so that more and more wheat may be sown in up coming Rabih crop.
Besides cotton crop which is a cash crop, which is being produced in a sufficient manner and the price of paddy have been already fixed. The Pasco will purchase paddy from growers on the fixed prices in first phase, the Government of Sindh will consider to purchase paddy from growers accordingly. He said that the threats were posed by the terrorists to prominent figures but we will face all the challenges and strict precautionary measures will be adopted he said added the facilities including transport and equipments will be provided to police force, besides we are awarding the efficient and brave police officers in the force.
CM met different delegations at Circuit House Larkano, he also received application from the people present there and passed spot orders there.
