LARKANA: September 23, 2009. (Nazir Siyal reports for PCP) Former political secretary to Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Naheed Khan has said that the assassination of Benazir Bhutto was utmost tragedy of World history and the facts behind her murder should be exposed to all, this she said while talking to newsmen here at public gathering Waleed Larkana, hosted by Senator Dr. Safdar Ali Abbasi and MPA Haji Munawar Ali Abbasi in the honor of PPP leaders and notables. Naheed khan further said that UN probe into the assassination of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto is still mysterious and those figures should be exposed now, added the UN array regarding the finding out the circumstances and hidden hands in murder are still hollow, but these should reach to the killers she said. Naheed Khan stressed that the rulers had no rights to decide the fate of Dictator Parvez Musharaf and giving him safe passage, because he was accountable to the masses for his deeds and the masses are the best judge to evaluate. She said the people had rejected the policies and actions of Musharaf in the general election, so the trials under article 6 must be initiated against dictator, who destroyed the institutions she said. Naheed Khan strongly condemned US drone attacks in Pakistani areas, such attacks on sovereign state can not be tolerated at any cost, further added the commission should be constituted to recommend and decide the national matters. To a query regarding the deal between PPP and Musharaf, she denied that she is not aware of any deal. Ms. Naheed Khan said that poverty and unemployment can not be elevated by Zakat and Baitul Mal distribution in rows, in this regard Government should form the development of policies according to the micro finance loaning system, like in Bangladesh. She said the close aids and loyal companions of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto have been set a side in the present Government setup, so that a gulf between masses and rulers is widening day by day, but in the Benazir Bhutto era people loved party and they found solutions and ways to the success. On the occasion, Senator Dr. Safdar Ali Abbasi talking to the media, said that after the martyrdom of Benazir Bhutto, a big political vacuum has been created in the present Pakistan Peoples Party, which can not be filled for a long time to come. Senator Safdar Abbasi said the present PPP Government will have to prove the legacy of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto and her manifesto in letter and spirit. He stated that “we have learnt politics from Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Benazir Bhutto, so that Garhi Khuda Bakhsh Bhutto is our political direction (Kiblah)”. He regretted the killings of PPP workers about 163 had been targeted in Karachi, which is now deplorable situation that now there was no any consultation with the party workers regarding the reconciliation process. He said the decision of reconciliation process should be determined by party workers. On the occasion, MPA Haji Munawar Ali Abbasi, Dr. Shafqat Soomro, Abdul Fattah Bhutto, Muzam Ali Abbasi and others were present in gathering here at Abbasi house.
