PCC and PCA demand judicial commission to probe killing of Pakistani Christian youth in jail.

New York: September 16, 2009. (PCP report) Dr. Nazir S Bhatti, President of Pakistan Christian Congress PCC and Pakistan Christian Association in North America PCA, have urged Chief Justice of Supreme Court of Pakistan to take Suo-Mottu notice on killing of Robert Danish accused of blasphemy in Central Jail Sialkot Security Cell to ensure justice. Robert Danish alias Falish Masih was found dead in Sialkot Jail on September 15, 2009, who was waiting trial on his arrest under Section 295 B PPC in an alleged complain of one Muslim of village Jhethe Key blaming him the desecration of pages of Holy Quran on September 11, 2009. Mr. Nazir S Bhatti, President PCA, Mr. William Shehzad Chairman PCA, Mr. Babar Khokhar Secretary General of PCA, Mr. Javeed Gill Finance Director PCA alongwith other leaders of Pakistan Christian Association in North America PCA issued here a statement to condemn killing of Robert Masih and demanded Judicial Commission to probe murder. In an emergency meeting of PCA leaders held here today in New York discussed the situation after killing of Robert Danish and decided to mourn his death. PCA also decided to protest during visit of President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari in month of September when he will participate in UNO session if justice not ensured and killers not arrested. PCC in a separate statement demanded immediate repeal of blasphemy law which is misused by extremist Muslim against religious minorities in Pakistan. Dr. Nazir S Bhatti, President of Pakistan Christian Congress PCC said that blasphemy laws paved way to religious extremism which resulted in Islamic terrorism in Pakistan and its need of time that aid to Pakistan by US administration and EU may be related to repeal of blasphemy law. “US and EU can only end terrorism in South-Asia if Article 2 of Constitution of Islamic Republic is amended and blasphemy law is repealed” added Nazir Bhatti In an other meeting in Philadelphia city of USA, Nazir S Bhatti met with Chief of Christian Voice of Pakistan CVOP Mr. Victor Gill and discussed killing of Robert Danish in Sialkot Jail Mr. Victor Gill urged Election not Selection of Christian parliamentarians and vowed to launch campaign to repeal blasphemy law which he termed root cause of apartheid among religious communities in Pakistan. Meanwhile, in a statement issued by Watson Gill, Gulbaz Fazal, Anjum Iqbal, Azim Masih, Daniel Masih And Pakistani Christian Community from Holland Condemn the killing of Danish Masih inside the prison cell. The Pakistani Christian Diaspora in Netherland said “The police saying that Danish Masih kills himself is all drama against the poor Christians. The Christian leaders urged Government of Pakistan to arrest those who are responsible of killing of Danish Masih. Danish Masih was innocent and he surrenders himself to the Police. The Christian leaders are meeting in Amsterdam on Saturday 19-09-09, to decide future line of action.
