LARKANA: September 11, 2009. (Nazir Siyal reports for PCP) Sindh Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs Muhammad Ayaz Soomro on Thursday said that a historical and unique Mazar (graveyard) of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto at Garhi Khuda Bux Bhutto will be built as after the historical Mazar of Qaid-e-Azam Mohammed Ali Jinnah in Karachi. Ayaz Soomro while addressing the press briefing he said that out of 434 million expenditure proposed on the development of Garhi Khuda Bux Bhutto ancestral graveyard. He said 76 million have been released for the ongoing development work and it will be completed before the anniversary of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto in December. He briefed about the development work, further told that double story stage in front of Mazar along with compound wall floor/paving, 80 bathrooms each for male and female will be completed on the anniversary and further development will be continue, in this connection Rs. 100 million will be released in few months he told. The Minister further told that according to the directives of President Asif Ali Zardari the committee of four Ministers headed by Agha Siraj Durani Local bodies Minister Sindh along with Mohammed Ayaz Soomro law minister, Manzoor Wassan Ministers for Communication/ Works and Services and Murad Ali Shah Minister Irrigation has constituted to check and monitor the development work in the Larkana. He said the problems of the shortage of teachers in schools will be fulfilled, he is aware of ghost teachers and attendance of students in the schools is low, the department should ensure the enrolment of students, added that priority should be set to open the schools and the enrolment may be ensured in schools he said. He said the party leadership gave a great sacrifice for the democracy and the rights of poor people must be fulfilled.
