Shahbaz Bhatti shall join PCC announced “Black Day” on August 11

Lahore: August 2, 2009. (PCP) Today the Executive members of "Life for All" visited Gojra, and assured support to the victims, the President Mr. Rizwan Paul was in tears as he saw the burnt houses. Mr. Kashif Mazhar and Mr. Amer Anwer gave food to the Children and assured the people that they will built the Church again. Mr. Rizwan told PCP that “rangers are moving in Gojra to ensure law and order situation” He further added that “I called Mr. Rehman Malik to thank him for his support, he told me that police has arrested a member of a banned extremist organization from Gojra” He said that “Minister Minorities have announced "Black Day" on August 11th, instead of Minority day” The Coordinator PCC called Shabaz Bhatti to ask about the BLACK DAY, he said “we will celebrate Black day in all Pakistan on August 11th with all the Christians and the Christian Organizations. He also said i request the Christians to join me in this Black day and make it a success” Another news is circulating that FIR is registered against 800 Christians by the Muslims, out which 17 names have been given my the Muslim leaders and 783 unknown people. The Chief Minister Punjab, Mr. Mian Shabaz Sharif announced 500,000 ( Five lacs) Rupees to be given to the families of the victims. The President Mr. Asif Ali Zardari has strictly instructed the Minister of Minorities Mr. Shabaz Bhatti to stay in Gojra and ensure law and order untill the conditions are normal again. Further Mr. President Asif Zardari said no one will be allowed to take the law in their hands. "Life for All" and PCC highly appreciate the support of Mr. Rehman Malik, The President and MQM. "Life for All" is making appeals for donations for the rehabilitation of the victims.
