Karachi, Pakistan: August 2, 2009. (PCP) Mr. Ashraf P Butt Advocate, Secretary General of God’s People Fellowship of Pakistan (G.P.F.P) has condemned the brutally incident where 75 houses, two churches were burnt and more than 8 Christians were alive killed in ablaze fire.
Mr. Butt further said in his statement the background of this brutal incident is that Mukhtar Masih, Talib Masih and Imran Masih has desecration to Holy Quran and the fundamentalist extremist Muslims with pre plan attack the village / chuck G-B 95, in Gojra, Punjab.
A case under 295-B, Pakistan Penal Code was registered against Christians people. The fire brigade was not allowed to enter in effected village by the extremist Muslims.
Mr. Butt further added in his statement that the rulers of Punjab govt. must take immediate legal action against the culprits who are involved in this brutal incident be arrested and be punished and the effected Christian may compensate by the Punjab- Govt.
A protest demonstration held by the activist of G.P.F.P in front of Karachi press club against this incident on 2nd August 2009.
