ISLAMABAD: August 1, 2009. (PCP) “We have to work to gain unity and communal trust between Muslims and Christians at any cost” said by Julius Salik, Convener, World Minorities Alliance when he was addressing a Solidarity rally here in Islamabad.
A Solidarity Rally was convened by World Minority Alliance here in Green park, National Press club, Islamabad, against conspiracy to hurt Muslim Christian Solidarity in Chak Korian, Gojrah, where some 70 homes were burnt by mobs. J Salik, nominee for Peace Nobel Prize appealed patriot forces to come out and be unite against common enemy society, the culprits who has tried to injured Muslim Christian solidarity. He added that at a time when our Forces has completed operation for peace, this kind of consperances will be very much dangerous for communal harmony in mother land.
Afzl Khan President A.N.P. and Paster Inayat Maseh were also in speakers. Hundreds of men and women from Christian Kachi abadies and Muslims attended the rally.
