LARKANA: July 18, 2009. (Nazir Siyal for PCP) 24th death anniversary of Shaheed Shahnawaz Bhutto, the son of founder Pakistan Peoples Party and former Prime Minister Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto was observed solemnly here at Larkana on Saturday.
Pakistan Peoples Party and PPP (Shaheed Bhutto) arranged separate programes at Al-Murtaza House and President House Naudero respectively.
On the occasion PPP District Larkana arranged Quran Khuwani at President House Naudero and offered Dua for the departed soul and distributed Lunger among the participants. Large number of PPP leaders and workers attended the ceremony and paid rich tribute to the martyred son of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto.
They went to the Garhi Khuda Bux Bhutto and laid floral wreath on the Mazar of Shaheed Shahnawaz Bhutto and offered Fateha on the occasion.
The PPP leaders including Ghulamullah Mahoto, Abdul Razaq Soomro, Khair Mohammed Shaikh, Nisar Murad Bhutto, Nooruddin Abro, Ghulam Mustafa Leghari, Kamran Odhano and others were present.
While, the PPP-SB also observed 24th death anniversary of Shaheed Shahnawaz Bhutto at Al-Murtaza House Larkana, where the party leaders and workers including Sardar Taj Mohammed Domki, Mumtaz Gopang, Altaf Malgani, Barkat MirJat, Ghulam Rasool Umrani and others participated in the recitation of Holy Quran on the occasion and offered Fateha in the last.
Later, they paid rich tribute to the Shaheed Shahnawaz Bhutto for the scarifying his life for the sake of country and remained in exile, but the enemies of Bhutto family murdered him at last.
They said that he was bold and revolutionary icon of Bhutto family and preferred to die but did not bow down before the dictators of the era.
