LARKANA: June 29, 2009. (Nazir Siyal for PCP) Pakistan Peoples Party enjoying political reconciliation with coalition partners for the regional interest, so that the MQM and PPP are true working partners according to policy of present government that is also the beauty of democracy. This he said by Dr. Shafqat Hussain Soomro the Chairman Sindh Peoples Development Committee (SPDC) and aide of the President Asif Ali Zardari. Talking to the English newspapers Journalists in his interview, Dr. Soomro told that there are 20 internal and external road schemes of Larkana district have been started with record development, they are expected to complete in short span of time. He further told that under the directives of President Asif Ali Zardari the National Highway Authority (NHA) will complete its mega projects of Sindh in stipulated time and the Larkana to Lakhi (Shikarpur-Sukkur) Road was inaugurated by the MNA Faryal Talpur on the eve of birth anniversary of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto. He said the quality of NHA Roads and other development projects will be maintain and supervised by the technical experts, added that the development package/schemes of Larkana and other parts of Sindh working according to the PC-I projects, there will be no compromise on the quality of development work he said. Dr. Shafqat Soomro further told that the Larkana district will be a model district in Sindh and the development work will be supervised by the NHA experts due to its technology, machinery and quality he said. He said there is lot of unemployment in Sindh including the Larkana, which could be fulfilled to establish Industries (Industrial Park) and other job opportunities for the youth, however they have distributed 5000 jobs to the Larkana people he said. Dr. Shafqat further said that the PPP government is planning about energy projects to end the load shedding and to control the shortage of electricity in country. He said, the future development about the wind and solar energy projects is the present government objectives to produce energy in country. He said Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto made country a nuclear power and Shaheed Benazir Bhutto sacrifice her life for poor and deprived class to uplift them in every sector, while PPP in Larkana had distributed Jobs, government land to the landless Haris as well Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Income Support Program and other lot of opportunities are under way he said. He said the UNO will probe into the murder of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto and will be declared all the facts before the people of Pakistan he said. Meanwhile, A large number of poor women observed took out protest against the District Zakat Officer Larkana (DZO) for non provision of Zakat here at Larkana Press Club on Monday. On the occasion, women chanting slogans along with their innocent children in heat and demanded for proper distribution of Zakat to widows and deprived women in Larkana. On the occasion, Imam Zadi, Bakhtawar, Subhan, Rashidan, Sharifan, Nooran and others were among them.
