LARKANA: June 22, 2009. (Nazir Siyal reports for PCP) President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari said on Sunday that some foes of the country were trying to destabilize Pakistan and pushing it towards the ignorance and menace of terrorism but their nefarious design would be foiled by the support of masses. Addressing the gathering of 56th birth anniversary of his spouse and slain chairperson of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Shaheed Benazir Bhutto here at President Camp House Naudero, Asif Ali Zardari said we will face every challenge of terrorism and difficulties to protect the sovereignty and security by the Intellectual forum and other development of economic issues. President said the Friends of Pakistan, world over have supported by five billion dollars, as they know about the difficulties of Pakistan, despite of International economic crisis and the enlightened friends are united to understand the economic situation he said. He said the political opponents and anti-democratic forces wait more five years to the next election and the workers of PPP will succeed again. He said we have full support of parliament and masses regarding the ongoing operation in SWAT against militants. President said the military operation will be successful at any cost and the terrorists will be defeated, he said the Pakistan has come into being after the sacrifices of millions of people; we will protect our motherland and not allow any one to interfere the country. He said he will sacrifice his last drop of blood for the sake of Pakistan, because we all need Pakistan and Pakistan is because of you, so it is the high time for us to change our thinking to the development and prosperous Pakistan. President said, there is need of new investments and window of opportunities in the International market and good relations with other countries. We are facing electricity crises in the country for a long, if the Benazir Bhutto was alive, we would have overcome the situation and new Hydel power generation station and other opportunities will be established to meet the energy requirement and trade with International level to sale out our commodities he said, so that he is interested to boast up the agricultural economy of country for the import of new seed from China. Asif Ali Zardari said our rivals want to push the country to the slavery, but we want to build good relations with neighboring countries regarding the geo political and development of socio-economy of Pakistan and to play our role in the Shanghai’s Cooperation Organization, as we were only the observer now the Pakistan is being considered for permanent member he said. President said, the Committee will decide and talk to all provinces after the present budget regarding the NFC Award, provincial natural resources and provincial autonomy; we have got assurance for the peace and stability in the Balochistan and other parts of country. He said the rights of all provinces including Balochistan will be given without their fight and no way to fight against democracy he added. President said Benazir Bhutto had trained him in the politics, so that the mission and vision of Benazir Bhutto will be accomplish with letter and spirit, added that he salute the ideology of Z. A Bhutto and Shaheed Benazir Bhutto, who sacrificed for the sake of democracy and common men. Mr. Zardari said that the ex-President had tried to revoke the general elections but he could not succeed, later, the PPP removed him after the dialogues he said. He said the UNO mission will be visiting Pakistan on 1st July to probe into the assassination of Shaheed Benzir Bhutto.
