No threat of Talibanization of Sindh. Nisar Khuhro

LARKANA: June 3, 2009. (Nazir Siyal reports for PCP) Speaker Sindh Assembly Nisar Ahmed Khuhro has said that there is no threat of Talibanization in Karachi or the rest of Sindh and we are against the extremism. This he said while distributing the grant of Rs. 50,000 cheque to the Larkana Press Club here on Tuesday. Nisar Ahmed Khuhro said that world knows that we have sacrificed and lost the precious lives of our people in the war against terrorism. He said we had talked and facing challenges of foreign extremist elements, added that there are weaknesses of cross border and immigration, so that in the reaction of Taliban we have now retaliated to safe guard our sovereignty. He said that was the remnant of Zia era, who forced country to the destruction. He said the settlement of IDPs of Swat and other areas are carried out temporary basis as they all could back to their destinations after the normalization of situation accordingly. Khuhro said that the previous government had lost 10 years and no proper development in electricity generation and job opportunities, added that Sindh is rich with natural resources, it has 200 billion tons coal reservoirs, that could not utilized, which can not be used for the centuries he said. He said present government had planned for the electricity generation in different sector including solar energy, wind energy and coal energy he said. Speaker Sindh Assembly has announced 50 thousand job opportunities for educated youth and they will provided job according to their merit. Earlier, Speaker Sindh Assembly Nisar Ahmad Khuhro visited the Larkana Blood Bank and Thaelessemia Center and distributed Rs. 50 thousand cheque to the LBBTC In charge QurutullAin Kango. On the occasion he said the present Government is trying its utmost to provide Health Facilities to the people at their door steps and the Thalassaemia Patients may be provided free treatment under Prime Minister’s Program, and the Larkana Blood Bank and Thalassaemia Center is also working for the welfare of the patients. The Speaker said that there is shortage of Technical staff to operate the different Machines available in Hospitals and there is also lack of facilities in this regard, he also said that Present Government was interested to establish Cardio center at Larkana and the Expert Doctors may be posted so that the proper treatment may be provided to the patients with out any delay. He said that in short possible time Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Medical University will be established at Larkana and he has appealed the well to-do persons to come forward and to help Larkana blood Bank and Thalassaemia Centers because this center is serving the ailing humanity with out any discrimination, he also said that the registration of people of Swat was being carried out in the Province when the circumstance in Swat will come as normal the people belonging to Northern areas will return back to their homes in due course of time, he said that an about 22 lakh emigrants are residing in the province of Sindh under the constitution of the Country any citizen of Pakistan has right that he can live any where in the Country. On the occasion incharge of the center Madam Qurat-ul-Ain Kango briefed the Speaker that 345 patients were registered in the center and 5-10 Thalassaemia patients are coming daily and free treatment is being provided to them, besides this the Hepatitis B and C patients were also being checked in the center on the occasion Khalid Iqbal Memon, Aftab Bhutto, Ghulam Abbas Kaher, Niaz Ali Leghari, Badshir Ahmad Sangi, Mumtaz Khokher, Panjal Sangi, Muhammad Ameen, Shaikh Zakir Hussain Abro, Ghulam Rasool Dayo, large number of PPP Leaders and workers of Larkana were present
