LARKANA: May 7, 2009. (Nazir Siyal reports for PCP) Christian Welfare Association Larkana chapter, President Sadiq Joseph has demanded the finance department, said that the social welfare department is working and promoting the NGOs, volunteerism and technical education countrywide, but the department employees, specially womenfolk is suffering, as they were not enjoying departmental promotions and revision of pay scale even in the Education department. He said those concerned employees were continue serving in the departments, they have right to enjoy all benefits as other departments. Government of Sindh finance department should promote and revise their scales specially women class in the social welfare and Education department. ____The roads and ways of the Larkana division have been occupied by the un-licensed private militants of tribal peoples. The traffic and passengers are compelled to travel under the umbrella of weapon, various roads which leads to the Larkana city with the effective measures of the law and order situation. According to the details, Jacobabad, Kashmore @ Kandhkot, Shikarpur, Kamber-Shahdadkot and Larkana districts seemed as barren land after the dusk to dawn. The Indus Highway and link roads automatically empty of traffic, while the several roads are closed by the security officials to check the dacoits, kidnappers and criminals. According to the new analysis the police and administration have suspended the convoy system and changed its shape into the data system in which two security personals step in the coaches and then allow the passenger coaches to their destination. Such check posts had been established at the Khairpur Jooso village in district Kamber-Shahdadkot along with Larkana district, where from the two personals lead the coach to the Dhamrah minor and further next activity is done from Larkana to Dadu and every district of Sindh. In this connection an official told that data petroling system has been started to protect the passengers from the robbers. It is also saving of precious time of the passengers which vested in convoy system. In the Data petrol system administration had provided the security to the inter-provincial roads, Indus Highway as well as Quetta, Sukkur road. That’s why the most of the vehicle drivers and passengers avoid the traveling during the night specially traveling in the areas of Warrah, Nasirabad, Kamber-Shahdadkot, Badah, Mirokhan, Ratodero, Shikarpur and Wagan roads are automatically suspended due to security problems. As per data, nine people had been abducted from Kamber-Shahdadkot districts, the abducted were Shahid Wadho, Khalid, Irshad Kamboh, Sajid Kamboh, Aziz Khuhawer, Noman Shaikh, Nasir, Perkash Lal and others, while recently trader of Jacobabad during travelling from Shahdadkot to Ratodero at Sijawal he was killed by the robbers. While the abducted from Ratodero were among Abdullah, Aqib, Mazhar and Imran Mughal, the RPO Sukkur has started an operation against the dacoits, such operation supervised by DIG Larkana and RPO Sukkur himself in different districts. On the other side, in the homes abductees, the mourning situation can be observed and recitation of Holy Quran, their family members depressed menatlly and praying fro their safe lives of their beloved. After such miseries and incidents in Larkana nd Kamber-Shahdakot districts the police is on high alert and number of police check posts have been increased at various locations. On the various areas of Larkana district the police personals have been martyred, while in case of the murder of dacoits, the police personals were threatened in their capacity, police paying heavily amount through the Jirga system to save themselves and their family lives, in such conditions police personals avoiding to challenge the criminals. On the occasion President Chambers of Commerce and Industry Larkana Masood Ahmed Shaikh has said that the government should protect the people of Larkana and traders killings and kidnapping will affect the investment, he said the traders security cannot be excused and the DPO Larkana and other officials coordination in this regard is appreciated. While the DPO Larkana Irfan Baloch and DPO Kamber-Shahdadkot Abdul Hameed Khoso udner the guidelines of DIG Larkana Sanaullah Abbasi have initiated the operation against the criminals and dacoits to destroy their safe heavens and hideouts, to recover allt he abductees. They also said the range of operation will be enhanced if there is need of rangers, we will call them to crush the criminals with iron hands they said. Sanaullah Abbasi said the police will not leave any one found guilty, Police do not care of the false cases and threats. He warned the dacoits even the influential, that the police will soon launch operation against the criminals, that’s why he had written a brief letter to the higher authorities and disclosed all the names he received by the concerned DPOs of the region.
