LARKANA: May 6, 2009. (Nazir Siyal reports for PCP) Three persons were killed including a woman on honor killing (Karo Kari) here in the Larkana vicinities on Wednesday. According to police, Ghulam Hussain Khuhawar the resident of Nazar Muhalla shot dead her wife Waheeda Khuhawar 35 on illicit relations. The police reached spot, told that the incident was honour killing and collected dead body taken to the CMC for autopsy. The police further lodged an FIR No. 55/2009 under section 302 against three accused Ghulam Hussain Khuhawar, Nisar Ahmed and Fayaz Ahmed, no arrest was reported till the filling of this report. In another incident, a nephew Riaz Khokhar the resident of Village Naich killed his uncle Nawab Ali with a pistol fire, while his uncle was sitting at shop in the limits of Wagan Police station here on Wednesday. The killing was said to be a property matter between them. Further the police investigation is under way. Meanwhile, Pakistan Peoples Party district Larkana chapter held a meeting under the chairmanship of senior vice president Dr. Shafqat Hussain Soomro at Circuit House Larkana on Wednesday. On the occasion, various issues of Larkana were discussed and development projects were reviewed. The party discussed the issues including Health, Education, Law and order, Labour, social issues, CNIC preparation in villages, cultural activities in order to facilitate the people of district on their door step and formed about nine committees in different fields. On the occasion committees were constituted as, Health committee Chairman Shafqat Hussain Soomro, the members Nisar Ahmed Bhutto and Asghar Ali Shaikh. The Education committee chairman, Mazhar Ali Junejo, members Mohammed Yaseen Bhutto and Mohd. Saleem Soomro. Development Schemes chairman Khan-Bahadur Aghum, members Sanaullah Unar and Mohammed Mashooq Bhutto. HESCO and NADRA chairman Aijaz Ahmed Leghari, Members Qamardin Sangi and Kamran Ali Odhano. Agriculture and Revenue chairman Noordin Abro, members Nek Mohammed Tunio and Hakim Ali Shaikh. Labour chairman Javed Hussain Mangi, members Dr. Shafqat Hussain Soomro and Mohammed Moosa Abro.
