The EAP concern is what would be the after effects of war upon the Church in Pakistan .It is not difficult to predict in the light of what we had experience last year. What should be our reaction? We have various biblical examples as how God's People responded in situations like this. When God' people gathered together to fast and pray. We read the first instance in the book of Easter 4:16 Queen Easter called the nation for time of fasting .The other instance like this is found in the book of Jonah. When the king of Nineveh called the nation for fasting .3:5,6 Do not you think God calling us to fast? The EAP Secretary said, "Many of mission institutions are winding up their operations in the country. What is going to happen to the rest of Lord's work"? " I, Exhort all of you, Brothers and Sisters! To come to EFA meeting of march 15th in the spirit of prayer and fasting .Let us spend some time in prayer and fasting then mere business .Let us make this lent season A special one .God is our refuge, shelter and hope. While our people are desperately gripped by feelings of fear and hopeless .Let us pray for fresh out pouring of God 's spirit upon us".
