(Nazir Siyal for PCP) Sindh Minister for Minority Affairs Dr. Mohan Lal has said that the present PPP government was came in to power due to great sacrifice of Shaheed Rani Benazir Bhutto she gave sacrifice of her life for the right of hari’s, Labors poor people and restoration of the democracy in the country this he said while presiding over meeting of the members of Minority committee of Larkana and Kamber& Shahdadkot Districts at Naudero Rest house today. During the meeting MNA Ramesh Lal informed that meeting that President of Pakistan and Chief Minister Sindh have taken serious notice for recovery of his cousin who was kidnapped recently from Shahdadkot area. The members of Minority also pointed out the problems of Minority community and the Minister said amendments in the law will be made in which the rights of Minority community will be safe guarded at any cost. The Minister said that (8000) Mundars were in the Province of Sindh out of which several Mundars were encroached, which ( encroachments) will be removed under the law and un authorized possession on Hindus properties as well as the kidnapping of Hindu Girls were also came under discussion. He also informed the meeting that in the manifesto of PPP the Chairman of Evaque Trust Property will be appointed from Minority community the Minister also said that Larkano his Own city and we are serving the Minority community without any discrimination and fulfill the commitment of Shaheed Rani Benazir Bhutto. The Minister informed the meeting that Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah has announced an amount of rupees one hundred Million (10 crores) for the scholarship for poor and needy students of Minority community, in the province out of which the poor and needy students of Larkana and Kamber & Shahdadkot District will also be provided scholarship in time. The Minister also said that after every three Months the minority community meeting will be held in which the Ministers belonging to minority community, MNA’s, MPA’s, will participate in the meeting and MNA Ramesh Lal informed that the development schemes of worth rupees 30 crores were completed and he advised members of minority community that they should provide the lists of remaining development schemes in the both District, the 5% quota will be given to educated youth for employment. The meeting was attended by U.C Nazim Naudero Nisar Bhutto, members of Minority community of Larkana and Kamber & shahdadkot District, Earlier the Minister visited the house of Muhammad Umer Bhutto at Bangul Dero and condole the death of his son ex- MNA late Muhammad Anwar Bhutto who died in road accident on Monday.
