LARKANA: April 24, 2009. (Nazir Siyal for PCP) Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gillani will arrive at Cadet College Larkana to attend the 17th Parents Day Ceremony and inaugurate the hostel here on Saturday. Later, the Prime Minister of Pakistan will launch the National Internship Program by the Federal Government of Youth Development here at Circuit House Larkana at evening, while the Prime Minister will also distribute the orders of Internship program among the educated Youth of Larkana on the occasion. He will hold the meeting and review the development schemes of Larkana and other areas. – Sindh Education Foundation (SEF) has started its new program “Public Private Partnership Rural Schools in collaboration with World Bank for the educational initiatives in the underprivileged areas of Sindh, In this regard the SEF will organize Contract Signing Seminar here in Larkana and Kamber-Shahdadkot on Sunday. The Chief Guest of the seminar will be Sindh Law Minister Mohammed Ayaz Soomro and Guest of Honour Provincial Minister for Women Development Tauqir Fatima Bhutto on the occasion. – A large number of residents of the village Allah Bux Mugheri of Kamber-Shahdadkot district took out protest demonstration and sit-in at out side the Press Club Larkana to protest against the Police atrocities here on Friday. According to the details, the heavy contingent of police led by SSP investigation Shamsuddin Magsi raided their village and took away valuables, gold and cash, while arrested their chieftain Raiees Baban else Mohammed Bux Mugheri and vanished him for a long. The Villagers led by Ghulam Hyder Buledi, Misri Khan Kalhoro, Mohammed Bux Buledi, Abdul Qadir, Abdul Gafoor and others shouted slogans against the DPO Kamber-Shahdadkot Abdul Hameed Khoso and SP investigation Shamsuddin for illegal raid and ransack the houses and looted valuables on the occasion. The villagers claimed that there is no any FIR or NC has registered against them in past, while the Police has They demanded the President of Pakistan, Prime Minister, Chief Minister Sindh to remove the District Police Officer investigation and operation Kamber-Shahdadkot and to recover chieftain Raees Baban else Mohammed Bux immediately. – Child Rights Committee (CRC) Kamber-Shahdadkot arranged a seminar on “Importance of Education and role of State” in the chairmanship of District Education Officer Literacy Manthar Ali Buriro here at the Auditorium Hall Higher Secondary School Kamber-Shahdadkot on Friday. The participants emphasized on the state that the government should take positives steps for the education development and provide healthy environment and good quality education to the children in the schools. The participants thanked the CRC for creating awareness among the masses and role in the educational development. On the occasion, Coordinator CRC Mohammed Khan Chandio, DO-E Qurban Ali Shaikh, Head Master Abdul Rehman Bhutto, Mumtaz Ali Shah, Bashir Ahmed Chandio and others were present. – Mutahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Larkana Chapter while addressing the press conference claimed that Talibanization factor has been activated all over districts including Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Larkana and other areas. MQM delegates including Zonal Incharge Larkana Ubaid Buledi and MPA Hergovindas said that Talibans are well equipped with arms and ammunition and posing threats for peace of Sindh, added they are gradually moving from urban to rural areas to destabilize the country and deteriorate peace and harmony of country they said. They expressed deep concern over the expansion of Talibanization in country and imposing of their will on peaceful people as they mention it Nizam-e-Adle. They said Sindh is the soil of Sufis and saints, people of the area peace loving and they will not be a part of their conspiracies they added. MQM participants said the extremism and terrorism are big threat for the sovereignty and security of country, their regulations of Nizam-e-Adle will not yield fruitful result for peace. On the occasion, Suhail Abbasi, Nisar Tunio and others were among the press conference here at Press Club. – The World Malaria Day will be observed here on Saturday April 25th 2009, in order to provide awareness to the people. In this regard the walk is being held from old DHO office Larkana to Press Club, on the occasion banners and pamphlets will be published and awareness about the preventive measures for malaria disease will be taken in this regard. Simultaneously the mother and Child health week will be observed in Larkana from April 27, to 2nd May 2009, in order to provide awareness to the people of the district. On the occasion walk will be held from DHO Office to Jinnah Bagh Press Club Larkana on Saturday. The rallies led by Executive District Officer Health Larkana Abdul Fatah Bughio and other volunteers, Civil Society representatives and other social workers. – Sindh University of Jamshoro Administration arranged 918 male and 584 female candidates’ written test for the post of Higher Secondary Teachers (HST) in a peaceful manner here on Saturday. The Larkana administration arranged for tents and other facilitation for the candidates all over from districts. On the occasion the written test for Junior School Teachers (JST) and Primary School Teachers (PST) will continue till the April 26th 2009 at Shaheed Benazir Bhutto stadium Larkana.
