TNSM Chief Sufi Mohammad rejects High Courts and demands Darul-Qaz for appeals after Shariat Regulation Bill.

Amandra, Malakand: April 15, 2009. (Ghulam Ghous reports for PCP) during a press conference in Amandara in the central office of TNSM, Sufi Muhammad told media that Qazi courts under Nizam-e-Adl regulation 2009 will gradually be established in all parts of the Malakand Division including Chitral. “Challenging of these courts decision will be supposed be against Islam” he added. The decisions of these courts will only be challenged in a new supreme court naming Darul-Qaz which will be a sort of High Court for Malakand Division. Sufi Muhammad also told that a peace rally of TNSM will visit Swat on 19th of this month for restoration of peace & tranquility in that conflict stricken region. On the other hand jumaat-e-Islami is also going to held a Nifaz-i-Shariat rally in Zafar park Batkhela, close to TNSM central office. This shows that TNSM does not want Jumaat-i-Islami to come close to TNSM in this regard. Sources have also told that federal minister Najmuddin Khan & commissioner Javed have also met with Sufi. Establishing of these courts in Chitral is a bit questionable because Chitral is a multi-ethnic area with huge populations of Muslims in some parts, huge numbers of Kalashis in other parts & Ismailyas in other parts. A Mufti told that Jews & Christians were dealt in the courts of the Caliphs in the early Muslim Arab & there will be no difficulty in deciding of a non-Muslim case in these courts because we have the tradition of such nature in our Islamic history.
