SPSF Shaheed Bhutto observe Hunger Strike against MS CMC Hospital

LARKANA: April 14, 2009. (Nazir Siyal reports for PCP) Sindh Peoples Students Federation SB District Larkana observed token hunger strike against MS CMC Hospital out side press club Larkana. On the occasion, District President Zubair Lahori, Abdul Ghaffar Chandio, Sartaj Athar Bhutto and others allegedly said that present MS Larkana has misappropriated PWF funds of Million rupees, moreover MS has usurped the repairing funds of Housing Colony. SPSF SB leaders further said that poor patients are deprived of health serious they are charged 50 to 100 for the Ultra Sound, X Ray and other tests by MS team at Hospital, they said that MS Larkana is misbehaving with poor patients. They demanded of government to conduct impartial inquiry against MS for embezzlement in hospital funds and transfer him otherwise SPSF SB would continue their protest. __Under the Larkana Development Package (LDP) 2008-09 main Chandka Medical College Bridge on Rice Canal substructure is completed and submitted its record without pile load test, while there is no any evidence of load test activity at site said the sources. According to the reports under the LDP 2008-09, the construction of pre-stressed bridge adjacent of CMC Bridge at Rice Canal with an estimated cost Rs. 53.443 and an amount released (PC-1, 2008-09) Rs. 26.720 for completion of bridge by a private construction company, despite the load test activity of pile one by one, the completion report has been submitted to the project director said the sources. The Larkana people and some well-known figures have demanded the authorities for proper and standard work on the sites under the Larkana Development Package, while the load test activity on site work have never been witnessed by the people of Larkana said the sources. Larkana people have also demanded for the working pile load test process up to the 24 to 36 hours maximum before the completion of sub structure reports by the construction company. Whereas, the technical persons of the company have denied any reports, they said that they will perform activity after the completion of structure and according to the rules they had considered the pile test as per policy and standard they told. __All Sindh Shaheed Benazir Bhutto All Sindh Inter-District Hockey Tournament by the District Hockey Association Larkana in collaboration with Sindh Sports Board was continuing for the next day at Municipal Stadium Larkana. During the match the chief guest was District Officer Sports Mohammed Suhail Makani, he was introduced all teams from different districts including Sanghar, Badin, Thatta, Tando Mohammed Khan and others. According to the next day tournament between Dadu and Tando Mohammed Khan match, DHA Dadu won by 18 gole against the 0 TMK, winner team’s Ghulam Sajad by five, Zohaib and Abdul Samad each 4, Haider Ali by three and Zafar Iqbal and Abdul Khaliq each succeeded by one. While, during the second match DHA Naushehro Feroz scored one and further against the DHA Badin by 9 scores and 14 score completed. By the winning team representative Younis by 9 score, Khalid Mehmood by 3 score Hyder, Salam and Gufran Ahmed each by one score success During third match DHA Sanghar defeated DHA Thatta by two goals, while in third and last match DHA Shikarpur defeated MirpurKhas team by Zero and each one scores and qualified the next round and winning team player Imtiaz won by single score on the occasion. __On the Call of APCA Family Planning Sindh Employees of Population Welfare Department under leader ship of Peeral Dayo staged protest demonstration and observed pen down strike against acceptance of their demands out side district office Larkana here on Monday. On the occasion, Provincial President APCA Sindh Peeral Dayo, Qutibuddin Rajput, Ali Hassan Depar addressing said that Government had made plane to distribute jobs to their favourits on political bases in population department, whereas heirs of deceased at retired employees were neglected. They said that protest is our democratic right we will struggle and snatch our rights from Government, APCA leaders demanded of government to remove deputed officer of that regularize all contracted employees, provide jobs to the heirs of Senior Employees, release 5 month salaries of Male Mobilizes restore deceased quota reinstate all sacked employees and remove Population Minister Jam Mehtab Dahar, otherwise APCA has threatened to extend protest circle. __Sindhi Adabi Sangat Ratodero Branch held protest against government for not providing Medical facilitates to ailing Sarkash Sindhi renowned poet of Sindh, large number of people from civil society including poets, writers, literary peoples thronged at Ratodero to protest against negligence of Government to provide free treatment to notable poet. On the occasion, Syed Ghazanfar Ali Raja, Malhar Sindhi, Ali Ahmed Udas, MB Abro and others speaking to protestors said that literates poet, writers are struggling fighting against suppression injustice raising voice for the rights of poor people by their pen, they are asses of Sindh but government is neglecting them, SAS leaders said. They allegedly said that office of Culture department Sindh are enjoying the budget there luxury where as Sindh Culture and literature are in very of destruction but Sindh Culture department has no case they said. SAS leaders demanded of high ups to provide free facilities to Sarkash Sindhi and remove DG & Director Culture Department otherwise they have threatened to enlarge protest level. Whereas, the District President Functional Muslim League Fakir M. Ibrahim Soomro said our party believes in serving of masses, our spiritual leader Pir Pagara always supported righteous way and politics of principle. He expressed these view in a reception hosted by press secretary Mukhtiar Ali Sangi at Local Hotel Larkana.
