PCC salutes MQM to not vote Sharia Regulation Bill. Nazir Bhatti

Philadelphia: April 13, 2009. (PCP) Nazir S Bhatti, President of Pakistan Christian Congress PCC have paid homage to Altaf Hussain, Chief of Mohajar Quami Movement MQM, on directions to MQM parliamentarians to boycott voting on Shariat Regulation Bill 2009, in National Assembly which shall be ever recorded and appreciated by millions of Christian in Pakistan who are struggling to repeal blasphemy laws and implementation of Islamic laws on minorities. The decision of MQM not to be part of Shariat Regulation Bill is in best interests of people of Pakistan and to block Talibanization of Pakistan after Nazim-e-Idal in Swat Valley, Malakand and Northern Areas. “I salute MQM on their stand to secure sovereignty and integrity of Pakistan by boycott Shariat Regulation Bill because such bills are denial to Pakistan of Quaid-Azam who dreamed it as secular republic nor a theocratic state” said Nazir Bhatti Dr. Nazir Bhatti added, “After adoption of Shariat Regulation Bill, Pakistan is under direct threat of Taliban who have already demanded to extend Sharia law in whole of Pakistan territory” Nazir S Bhatti said that Pakistan Christian Congress PCC and millions of Pakistani Christians are standing with MQM stand and urges Christians supporting PPP, PML(N) and ANP to quit these groups after Shariat Bill.
