Srinagar: April 8, 2009. (PCP) Senior Hurriyat Executive and Acting Chairman Jammu Kashmir Peoples League Mukhtar Ahmad Waza said that forth coming parliamentary election is in no way any substitute of Kashmir resolution. In view of the fact that from 1952 till to this date several self-styled parliamentary and assembly elections were brought in action but they din not change the ground situation - Kashmir imbroglio is still an unresolved issue ,the temporization budge adopted by India may invite another Clash : a nuclear confrontation -which can not be ruled out ,if it happens this would engulf whole of the South Asia because it is an admitted fact that Kashmir at Present is a nuclear flash point between two neighbouring countries of the sub-continent, waza said. Mukhtar Waza maintained that so- called elections in Kashmir are not the substitute for the resolution of Kashmir, unless a meaningful tripartite discourse in not carved out and Kashmiri is the Prime party to the dispute , therefore both Pakistan and India have to respect the sentiments and desires of common stock of people of Jammu Kashmir. Waza appealed to the civilized world to intervene into the matter so as to give a peace a chance to prevail in the region.
