LARKANA: March 2, 2009. (Nazir Siyal reports for PCP) The 30th death anniversary of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) founder and former premier Zulfikar Ali Bhutto will be observed throughout the country on Saturday, where the millions of people across the country will pay tribute to their late leader at Garhi Khuda Bux Bhutto and Naudero. Before this, Central Executive meeting will be held at 3rd April and later the anniversary programs will start late night. On the occasion a documentary video will be displayed at public meeting Garhi Khuda Bux a native village of Bhutto’s family. The Pakistan Peoples Party (S.B) Chairperson Ghinwa Bhutto will also arrange a public meeting, while the PPP workers and leaders caravan s of both fractions, arriving in Larkana from the interior of Sindh, Punjab, NWFP and Balochistan and Azad Kashmir. PPP will arrange recitation, naats and a mushahira and speeches, while the all party workers and leaders will observe two minutes calmness here at public meeting. The candle lit rallies will also be took out PPP leaders heaped praise on Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto for his services to the party and the country. On the eve of anniversary main program will be held at newly established 100 ft stage along with ladies and press gallery also setup. He said after offering Fateha on the Mazars of Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, Shaheed Rani Mohtarma Benaizr Bhutto, Shaheed Mir Murtaza Bhutto, Shaheed Shahnawaz Bhutto, Begum Shireen Ameer Bhutto and laid floral wreaths on the Mazars of Shaheeds at Garhi Khuda Bux Bhutto. On the occasion, Provincial Ministers Dr. Zulfiqar Mirza, Agha Siraj Durani, Muhammad Ayaz Soomro, Syed Ali Nawaz Shah, Ambassador of Pakistan in UAE Khurshid Ahmed Junejo, Dr. Shafqat Soomro, Khair Muhammad Shaikh, Taluka Nazim Larkana Yasir Junejo, RPO Sukkur Muhammad Ramzan Channa, DIG Sanaullah Abbasi, DCO Larkana Muhammad Jaffar Abbasi, DPO Irfan Balouch and PPP leaders, workers were present in a large number. Syed Qaim Ali Shah said that the Jalsa and Mushaira and Quran Khuawani will also be held at Garhi Khuda Bux Bhutto and President House Naudero, he hoped that the lakhs of people from nock and corner of the country will come to pay rich tributes to their leaders Qaid-e-Awam Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto. Chief Minister said that the accommodation facilities may be provided, drinking water facilities are available at Garhi Khuda Bux Bhutto and parking place for vehicles also set up in separate place. He said that the lunger will be distributed among the people. He also said that the jobs opportunities will be provided to educated youths without any discrimination. The Chief Minister visited development works in front the Mazar of Shaheed Rani Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto and at President house Naudero. Syed Qaim Ali Shah also said that PARCO Authority was directed to purchase the paddy from Larkana, Kamber Shahdadkot, Shikarpur, Jacobabad and Kashmore at Kandhot districts without any delay. Chief Minister also said that the wheat procurement centers were already set up through out province during Rabi crop and it will purchase on fixed price Rs. 950/- per 40 Kgs. He said that the affected districts regarding damages of paddy crop were already notified for the remission of land revenue/Abiana and others government dues. Besides, the recovery of agriculture loan has been postponed for two years. _ Former political secretary of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto, Naheed Khan on Thursday said the real workers of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) believe in the legacy of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Benazir they devoted themselves for democracy in country. Naheed Khan was addressing a huge rally during arrival at Naudero from Sukkur Airport at evening, where the She was along with Senator Dr. Safdar Abbasi first time was accorded warm welcomed by the large number of people. Naheed Khan said according to the philosophy of Z. A Bhutto that real power is the masses of country and the PPP is a grass root level party and Ministers and elected people should respect the party workers. She said the masses elected the members in Assembly to protect their rights, instead of serving the people they are treated as their servant. She lauded the workers and their dedicative efforts for the democracy and party objective. She said the ministers should realize that they have been elected by their votes of people. Naheed said that we did not harm the party and will not allow any one to damage the party, added that we are the followers of Z A Bhutto and companion of Benazir Bhutto and we will remain in party for ever. On the occasion Senator Dr. Safdar Abbasi, while addressing the public gathering he said that we have struggled for the revival of democracy and supremacy of law in country. He said they will not bow against any dictatorship as they had faced hardships before he said. He further said that the Z. A Bhutto was great Asian leader, who sacrificed his life for the country men. MPA Munwer Abbasi, in his speech, said that their is no differences in party and all the workers are united; the party leaders and their workers have not challenged any one, but needs to be paid attention to resolve genuine issues of party workers he said. He said all the matters should be resolved in CEC and federal council meeting as in the Z. A Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto era. Earlier, Naheed Khan along with Senator Dr. Safdar Abbasi and MPA Munwer Ali Abbasi, Mouazam Ali Abbasi, Awais Abbasi, Ali Hassan Dahani and large number of party workers in hundreds of vehicle caravan from Sukkur to Garhi Khuda Bux Bhutto reached here.
