LAHORE: March 15, 2009. (PCP) Pakistani are watching surprisingly a political drama being staged in name of Long March in different cities by politicians who are demanding restoration of deposed chief justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudry. The deposed justice issue is two years old when president Pervez Musharraf sacked Mr. Chaudry and imposed emergency in Pakistan. Mr. Nawaz Sharif and his Pakistan Muslim League (N) kept silent when hatched power in Punjab province with an agreement with Asif Zardari of PPP but suddenly raised judiciary issue when disqualified by higher court for elections. Pakistani are seriously thinking about deposed justice Mr. Chaudry who has been modeled as only true Muslim and only hope for justice in Pakistan by politicians. Is Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudry last hope for fair judicial system in Pakistan? This question is circulating among population of Pakistan. There is an other school of thought in Pakistan who visualizes this campaign of restoration of judges as invitation to Taliban to act more freely to attack on Kabul. There are also rumors that PML (N) and other parties in Long March are demanding restoration of deposed justice Iftikhar Chaudry to take control of Supreme Court of Pakistan to dismantle ISI and weaken Pakistan Army to pave way for Swat like Sharia law in all over Pakistan. Do Pakistani leaders realize worst economic situation of country and insurgency in western borders? Do long march and one deposed judge is superior on solidarity and integrity of Pakistan? Now clashes are underway in Lahore between long marchers and police which can spread in capital Islamabad to create worst law and order situation in Pakistan. PPP leader Benazir was martyred in a very small rally by terrorists in Rawalpindi but where are those terrorists now when thousands are on streets? Are terrorists secretly linked to any political group in Pakistan that when it waves signal then suicide bombers kill innocent citizens? Doubts are taking shape now!!!
